Welcome to Family Vault — your secure companion for storing what matters most. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application (com.fexo.family.fexovault, "the App"), which lets you safely store, organize, and protect important family documents, photos, and personal records on your device.
By using Family Vault, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Family Vault does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your vault content, access stored items for any purpose other than displaying them at your request, track your location, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All items you store in your vault, organization history, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your vault content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: on-device encryption of vault content, encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting and remote configuration, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all vault data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Family Vault requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its secure storage and protection features. Below is a full breakdown:

We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality:
No advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs for cross-app profiling, and no data brokers. Your vault content stays yours, always.
Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:
Family Vault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Camera and biometric permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
