Welcome to Fexo App Lock — your dependable app privacy guardian. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application (package: com.fexo.app.lock) ("the App"), which allows you to lock your apps behind a PIN, password, pattern or fingerprint, capture break-in alerts, and keep your private content protected.
By using Fexo App Lock, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo App Lock does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your intruder photos or app list, access app usage data for any purpose other than locking at your request, track your location, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All lock credentials you set, locked-app selections, intruder photos, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your protected content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all lock data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Fexo App Lock requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its locking and break-in alert features. Below is a full breakdown:

| Usage Access | Detects which app has just been opened so the lock screen can appear for apps you have chosen to protect. This information never leaves your device. |

| Installed Apps List | Lists the apps installed on your device so you can pick which ones to lock. The list is read on-device only and is never uploaded. |
| Start After Reboot | Restarts the protection service after your device reboots so your apps remain locked without you re-opening the app. |
| Battery Optimization Exemption | Asks permission to keep the protection service alive on devices with aggressive battery savers that would otherwise stop app locking. |

We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality:
No advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs for cross-app profiling, and no data brokers. Your protected content stays yours, always.
Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:
Fexo App Lock is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Camera and usage access permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
