Welcome to Fexo Clap Sense (com.fexo.clap.sense) — your hands-free phone finding companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App"), which listens for a clap to sound an alarm, flash the torch, and vibrate so you can locate your device.
By using Fexo Clap Sense, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo Clap Sense does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, record or upload your audio, listen for any purpose other than detecting a clap at your request, track your location, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All detection settings, alert preferences, and app configuration are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your audio or usage content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all app data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Fexo Clap Sense requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its clap detection and alert features. Below is a full breakdown:

| Vibration | Vibrates your phone as part of the find-my-phone alert and for in-app feedback. |
| Flashlight | Flashes the torch when a clap is detected, so you can spot your phone in the dark. |
| Camera | Required by Android solely to control the camera's flash unit for the torch alert. The app never opens the camera, takes photos, or records video. |
| Start After Reboot | Restores your armed detection setting after the device restarts, so you don't have to re-enable it manually. |

Fexo Clap Sense is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Microphone and camera permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
