Welcome to Fexo Files Reader — your powerful document reading companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App"), which allows you to browse, open, read, and share the documents stored on your device.
By using Fexo Files Reader, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo Files Reader does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your recordings, access screen content for any purpose other than recording at your request, track your location, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All documents you open, reading history, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your file content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all document data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Fexo Files Reader requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its file browsing and document reading features. Below is a full breakdown:

| Advertising ID | Uses your device's Advertising ID to show personalised ads and measure their performance. You can reset or opt out of it in your device settings at any time. |
We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality:
No advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs for cross-app profiling, and no data brokers. Your recordings stay yours, always.

Fexo Files Reader is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Storage and file access permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
