Keyboard App — Type, Translate, Personalize
Welcome to Fexo Keyboard — your fast and private typing companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App"), which allows you to type, dictate with your voice, translate text, and personalize your keyboard.
By using Fexo Keyboard, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo Keyboard does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your recordings, access screen content for any purpose other than recording at your request, track your location, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All recordings you create, editing history, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your recorded content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all recording data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Fexo Keyboard requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its typing, voice and personalization features. Below is a full breakdown:

| Network Status | Checks whether your device currently has an active internet connection, so online features degrade gracefully when you are offline. |
| In-App Purchases | Allows you to buy premium features and remove ads securely through Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment details. |
| Background Service | Runs a foreground service so long-running operations, such as voice typing, continue reliably while you use the keyboard. |
| Background Data Sync | Lets that foreground service finish data-sync tasks, such as downloading language packs or themes, without being interrupted. |
| Internet | Connects to the internet to load app content, ads, and online features such as translation and downloadable themes. |
| Microphone | Records audio for voice typing when you tap the microphone key. It is never activated in the background or without your action. This permission is used on Android only — it is not used on iOS. |
| Screen Overlay | Draws the floating keyboard and popup previews on top of other apps so you can type comfortably anywhere. |
| Vibration | Provides haptic feedback on key presses and notifications. You can turn this off at any time in the app's settings. |
We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality:
No advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs for cross-app profiling, and no data brokers. Your recordings stay yours, always.
Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:
Fexo Keyboard is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Microphone and overlay permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
