Welcome to Fexo Memories Diary — your private journaling companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application com.fexo.memories.diary ("the App"), which allows you to write diary entries, attach photos and voice notes, tag moments with a place, and protect it all behind a biometric lock.
By using Fexo Memories Diary, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo Memories Diary does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your diary entries, read your journal content for any purpose other than displaying it back to you, or share precise location with advertisers.
Local-First Approach: All entries you write, attached media, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your journal content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting and ad delivery, optional biometric locking of the diary, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all journal data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Fexo Memories Diary requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its journaling and personalisation features. Below is a full breakdown:

| Internet | Connects to the internet to load app content, deliver ads, send anonymous crash reports, and power online features. |
| Notifications | Shows your daily writing reminders and memory look-backs. You can turn these off at any time. |
| Start on Boot | Re-registers your scheduled reminders after the device restarts, so you don't silently stop receiving them. |
| Microphone | Records voice notes you attach to an entry. It is active only while you are recording and never runs in the background. |
| Wallpaper | Allows you to set a favourite photo or diary cover as your device wallpaper, only when you choose that option. |

We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality and support the free version:

Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:
Fexo Memories Diary is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Camera, microphone, and location permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
