Welcome to Fexo Piano App — your personal piano learning companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App", Android package com.fexo.piano.app), which allows you to learn songs, practice with an on-screen or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard, and track your progress.
By using Fexo Piano App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo Piano App does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your recordings, access screen content for any purpose other than recording at your request, track your location, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All recordings you create, editing history, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your recorded content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all recording data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Fexo Piano App requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its learning and practice features. Below is a full breakdown:

| Bluetooth Scan | Used to find nearby Bluetooth MIDI keyboards when you open the device pairing screen. It is never used to determine your location. |
| Internet | Connects to the internet to load app content, ads, and online features. No recordings or personal data are uploaded. |
| Microphone | Listens to you play during listening exercises so the app can tell which notes you hit. Requested only when you open such an exercise and never runs in the background. |
| Vibration | Provides haptic feedback on correct or wrong notes and metronome beats. This permission does not access any personal data. |
We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality:
No advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs for cross-app profiling, and no data brokers. Your recordings stay yours, always.
Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:
Fexo Piano App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Camera and microphone permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
