Welcome to Fexo Recipes — your everyday cooking companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App"), which allows you to browse recipes, save your favorites, add your own dishes with photos and voice notes, and share what you cook.
By using Fexo Recipes, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo Recipes does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your private recipes or media without your consent, access your camera or microphone for any purpose other than what you request, or track your precise location.
Local-First Approach: The recipes you add, your saved favorites, attached photos, voice notes, and app preferences are stored primarily on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your personal recipe content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting and ads, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since your recipe data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Fexo Recipes requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its recipe, photo, and voice-note features. Below is a full breakdown:

Fexo Recipes is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Camera and microphone permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
