Welcome to Fexo Shopping List — your simple shopping companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App", package name com.fexo.shopping.list), which allows you to organise shopping lists by category, add items by barcode or voice, track prices and totals, and set shopping reminders.
By using Fexo Shopping List, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. Fexo Shopping List does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your recordings, access screen content for any purpose other than recording at your request, track your location, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All recordings you create, editing history, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your recorded content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all recording data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
Fexo Shopping List requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its list, scanning, and reminder features. Below is a full breakdown:

| Notifications | Shows the shopping reminders you schedule as notifications on your device. You can turn these off at any time. |
| Boot Completed | Restores your scheduled shopping reminders after the device restarts, so a reboot does not cancel them. |
| Microphone | Lets you add items to your list by speaking, using your phone's own speech recognizer. Only active while you hold the voice button. |
| Exact Alarms | Schedules your shopping reminders to fire at the exact time you choose, rather than at an approximate time. |
| Wake Lock | Keeps the screen awake while Shopping Mode is on, so your list stays visible as you shop without unlocking the phone repeatedly. |
We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality:
No advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs for cross-app profiling, and no data brokers. Your recordings stay yours, always.
Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:
Fexo Shopping List is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Camera and microphone permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
