Welcome to fexo Sleep tracker — your calm bedside sleep companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App"), which tracks your sleep automatically, estimates your sleep stages and quality, wakes you with a smart alarm, and helps you build a healthier sleep routine.
By using fexo Sleep tracker, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. fexo Sleep tracker does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your recordings, access screen content for any purpose other than recording at your request, track your location, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All recordings you create, editing history, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your recorded content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all recording data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
fexo Sleep tracker requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its sleep tracking and alarm features. Below is a full breakdown:

| Microphone Service | Lets optional snore detection listen during a tracked night. Sound is analysed on your device in real time and never leaves it. |
| Internet | Loads remote app settings and ads. Your sleep, health, and microphone data are never sent over the internet. |
| Usage Access | On phones where automatic detection is unavailable, screen on/off times are used to estimate when you slept. The app reads only screen on/off events, never which apps you use. Granted by you in system settings. |

We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality:
No advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs for cross-app profiling, and no data brokers. Your recordings stay yours, always.
Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:
fexo Sleep tracker is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Microphone and health permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
