Welcome to FexoShare — your fast and reliable file sharing companion. At Fexo FZC LLC, we believe privacy is a fundamental right. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application ("the App", package com.filetransfer.fexoshare), which allows you to transfer files, share photos and videos, and connect with nearby devices over Wi-Fi.
By using FexoShare, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
We are committed to minimal data collection. FexoShare does not require accounts, and we never collect personally identifiable information unless strictly necessary for functionality.

We do NOT: Sell personal information, upload your files, access your content for any purpose other than transferring it at your request, track your location for advertising, or use data for advertising profiling.
Local-First Approach: All files you send or receive, transfer history, and app preferences are stored exclusively on your device. We maintain no remote database containing your shared content.
Security Practices: We follow industry best practices: encrypted data transmission (where applicable), secure API communication only for crash reporting, and regular security reviews.
Retention: Since all transfer data lives on your device, you can clear app data or uninstall the App to permanently remove all information at any time.
FexoShare requests only the permissions necessary to deliver its file sharing and device connection features. Below is a full breakdown:

We use limited third-party tools solely to maintain app quality:
No advertising SDKs, no tracking SDKs for cross-app profiling, and no data brokers. Your recordings stay yours, always.
Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have rights over your data. Since all user-generated content is stored locally:
FexoShare is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will ensure data is promptly removed. Camera and microphone permissions should be used under parental guidance for younger users.
We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal, or technical changes. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant updates, we will notify you via in-app notice or on our website.
